2014 Myka Custom #2014 is a unique guitar. The concept is an instrument with a wide dynamic range, clear note definition and clarity, and a complex harmonic structure. The Kingwood neck was harvested in 1929, imported into the US in 1930, and air dried ever since. It is the most stable wood and produces a bell like chime that is classic of the Brazilian Rosewoods. To take advantage of this the body core is made from a lightweight and extremely resonant Western Red Cedar that accentuates the complex nature of the rosewood and producing a crisp and articulate instrument. The cleans are gorgeous, chords are full and pwerful and every note is clear, and the sustain is very good. The switching system is the Myka 3x5-way Infinity System that allows for many new coil combinations and new tones to explore. Add in the Skyway for variable pitch control and this is one the most versatile guitars on the market today.
